This preparation box is designed to accompany you in all your recipes. It includes three complementary knives:

A paring knife for small precision jobs (peeling, fine cutting),

A serrated universal knife for firm-skinned foods such as tomatoes or citrus fruits,

A mini-santoku, with a wide and honeycombed blade, for chopping or chopping without the food sticking, ideal for meat, fish and vegetables.

This set of three knives features the emblematic design of the Ideal collection, enhanced by walnut wood handles. Their silhouette, both elegant and functional, embodies the shape of French kitchen knives, adopted in kitchens around the world.

Each knife is 100% forged, i.e. made from a single piece of steel heated and stamped at 1200°C. This process forms a single block – blade, bolster and tang – guaranteeing exceptional strength and long-lasting longevity.

Thanks to a balanced weight distribution, these knives offer a pleasant grip and reduce fatigue during prolonged cuttings. Their straight-backed blades are forged from nitrogen-enriched 4116 NITRO+ stainless steel, with a hardness between 58 and 60 HRC. This high-performance French steel, combined with a 12.5° cutting angle for the smooth blades, ensures a precise edge and excellent cutting hold, even in everyday use.

This enclosure offers an ideal compromise between performance and ease of maintenance, in particular thanks to its high resistance to corrosion. The walnut wood handles, with a fine grain and a warm, deep hue, bring a natural elegance and a touch of authenticity to each knife. Pleasant to the touch, they offer a comfortable grip and good resistance to humidity, provided they are properly maintained. The three brass rivets ensure a secure fix, and the corbin at the end of the handle adds security.

Manufactured entirely in Thiers, the French capital of cutlery, these three knives embody all the know-how of Lion Sabatier. Like all 100% forged models in the Ideal range, they come with a limited lifetime warranty, reflecting the brand's commitment to quality and durability.
