Made in Denmark since 1956, SCANPAN is built on one simple promise: cookware should perform brilliantly, last for years, and feel good to use every day.

SCANPAN began in 1956 when Danish inventor and businessman G. A. L. Thorsen helped pioneer a new pressure-casting approach to cookware. What started as an experiment soon became a defining idea for the brand: create pans with strength, stability and dependable heat performance.

To this day, SCANPAN’s aluminium cookware is cast at its own factory in Denmark (Ryomgård, near Aarhus), combining traditional craft with modern production standards. The brand is also known for using recycled aluminium, turning carefully selected material into durable cookware designed for everyday cooking.

At the heart of SCANPAN’s performance is its non-stick technology, including STRATANIUM and STRATANIUM+ coatings engineered for smooth release, reliable durability and an easier clean-up, so you can focus on the food, not the washing up.
